With a very manageable ascent, pedal rolling champagne covered hills above the Carneros Preserve with your professional guide. Breath-in the bay breeze with views of Mare Island, Skaggs Island and both Mount Tam and Mount Diablo. Pedal past arches of live oaks and deep ravines alternating between sun-dried swells of grass, then back into wooded stretches.
Lay-down your bike for lunch at a winery stop of your choice where your friendly guide will pour wines and pitch picnic. Then finish the day exploring the region by water on kayak or paddle board plying the waters of this famed Carneros region. Celebrate acres of preserved bay lands, tidal sloughs and wetland habitat.
YOUNTVILLE to Napa’s Oxbow District
This adventure starts in the picturesque town of Yountville with a guided bike trip among scenic vineyards. Pedal eleven miles of the Napa Valley Vine Trail along a dedicated path into Downtown Napa and enjoy the Rail Art District (RAD) for the last mile. Lunch will be presented at one of several urban wineries or riverside at the Oxbow Preserve. When getting onto the water, you will explore the forested Northern Reach of Napa River - Oxbow District, a rich wildlilfe corridor finishing in the Oak Knoll AVA. This is the most critical habitat zone on the Napa River, where salt and fresh water meet.
SOUTH NAPA ESTUARY - NAPA - YOUNTVILLE
This Pedal, Paddle & Pour excursion begins on kayak or SUP in the tidal wetlands 2.6 miles south of Downtown Napa and rides incoming tide for about one hour. Then, step off your kayak at either the Riverfront Plaza, Oxbow Commons or Napa Valley Yacht Club for splash of wine & picnic nosh hosted by your knowledgable guide. Then pedal to Yountville along the Napa Valley Vine Trail and enjoy a second winery of your choice along the way
